Small playground area, fish cleaning station, four new complete bathrooms, an ADA playground, a boat launch, sanitary dump station and 37 sites (with 10 electric sites).
DONT BOTHER GOING HERE EVEN FOR A LIL BIT DURING THE DAY!! guy in a red Jeep came up to me while I visited this place held orange passes up in my face and told me there is a day fee pass to even b there!!! I had just gotten out of my vehicle to look around he said we charge $4 a day to b there and just look around even fish the side..... The SIGN UP FRONT DOES NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT DAY PASSES ONLY LAUNCHING BOATS AND CAMPING. IIhave a pic of the main sign up front stating prices. LAUNCH IS $2 so y did he yell at me and say $4?? Even if I wanted to take my kids down there to play on the park it's a charge fee?!! For even ten min or a half HR of play time. I will nvr recommend people here after he was rude and wanted to throw up prices at my face!!!!
My husband's family has been camping here since he was a kid. We now carry on the tradition and take our child there too! Quiet little campground, clean and nice people. Definitely more of a fisherman's campground but we love it for our whole family too!
Great spot to bring families they even have restrooms with showers. Fishing is easy fish off the shore or bring your boat to their dock. 10 spots with electricity and other spots without. Very nice place to camp.
WAS!!! a nice place over the last 15 YRS....but New camp host the last 2 yrs have ran the place into the ground...Bathrooms are ALWAYS dirty and ONLY 3 ARE AVAILABLE DO TO THE NEW CAMP HOST LOCKING ONE UP FOR THERE
OWN PERSONAL USE ..NOT TO MENTION the last 3 yrs , there has been different homless people there living in tents WITH NO HYGIENE WHAT SO EVER USING THEM 3 BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS.. ITS Sad to MR TO see such a great place turn into white trash ville!!! MYSELF AND THE OTHER 10 TO 8 WEEK PER YEAR PEOPLE WILL HAVE TO MAKE DIFFERENT ARRANGEMENTS IN THE FUTURE...2 THUMBS DOWN 👎👎
Good fishing camping seems good no shade tho its very direct light all day there but the canal is weedy but full of fish
