Stayed four night at this campground at the end of September first weekend in October. Campground did see a few more campers during the weekend but by Sunday afternoon it was pretty much empty. The campground is beautiful, clean, and employees very friendly. Would stay again in the fall as that’s our time to camp.

If you like nature Powell Township and Marquette County has provided all sorts of opportunities. Water access, hiking, waterfalls, beautiful picnic spots, and don’t miss Thomas Rock.

A wonderful campground for families! We just stayed 7 days in a Yurt with 2 young kids and although no electricity was so much fun! The beach is beautiful and clean, kids loved the park and riding bikes with all the others staying. Bathrooms were clean and nice showers. Staff was very helpful and friendly, stopping daily to see how things were going. Great general store across the street with everything you could need , plus laundromat and restaurant! Thanks for a great week! See ya next year😊

Perkins Park has the best beach ever. Shallow water for the kids but when you get out to the boueys it’s deep enough to swim. Water is clean, clear and warm!

Beach and bathrooms are kept up with and clean too. Showers are available and there is an older park.

Campsites itself are wonderful. We have a family camping week every year and have always had wonderful experiences!
