Campground and owners were fantastic. Beautiful place with well maintained grounds with great bathhouse. Most nights the owner builds a fire in the main grassy area overlooking Lake Superior to watch the sunset. This place is a gem and I would definitely return!

Management is extremely rude and unprofessional! We had 3 site and a family member want to come and hang out. They tried to stop at the office to pay to come in(which is ridiculous $30.00 just to come in) but there wasn't anyone in the office. So when the owners approached us in a God awful manner. Completely rude, disrespectful, unprofessional way our company was yelled at to leave. Then they went ahead and charged my credit card but didn't allow them to stay! Oh and if you enjoy camping and camp fires, some music, like normal camping this is definitely not a place to go. More like a retirement home. This was a yearly trip for our family needless to say we will never be back.

Just to clarify with the owners response. It was not a party and 2 people came in and tried to pay but the office was closed! There was not a nice approach when asked to leave.

All I can say is WOW!! What a great campground. Our site was spacious where we parked our camper. Very nice gift shop, they sell ice, firewood, etc. The staff is the extremely friendly and helpful. Walking distance to a white sand beach along Lake Superior. Make sure you visit the Porcupine Mountains visitor center to get a day pass to visit the Lake of the Clouds site and everything that this area has to offer.

This was our second time staying and it was just as awesome as the first time. The folks who run the camp are awesome. They keep the grounds very clean and manicured. The restroom facilities are really nice. The camp is located right across the street from the beach with amazing views. We are looking forward to making this an annual stop.

We camped here for a week. The owners are very personable and there if you need them.

The campground is well kept and great location for beach and porcupine mountains.

The bathrooms are immaculate and love the music while showering.

Book your site, you won't regret it!!!
