My parents have a camping trailer here and we just visited them. The parks are very nice and kid friendly. The beach is within walking distance from the park and the beach itself is very clean and kept up.The only thing that wasn’t my favorite was how close the trailer lots are to the ones next to it.It would be nice to see it expanded somehow to give more privacy to the camping lots. The sites are within walking distance to town and there are plenty of shops and boutiques in town for clothes and souvenirs as well as icecream and candy shops for the kids.Lake Huron was not very cold this time of year and my children swam in it for a long while. It’s a beautiful town with beautiful beaches on Lake Huron and very family oriented!

Beautiful setting on Lake Huron. Park was well taken care of. The swimming and beach are great. You can walk to town or walk the pier. A great location. The only negative was the two trains coming through in the middle of the night were hard to recover from. Look forward to coming back in the future.

Wonderful little town to visit for a quick weekend getaway. Peaceful and quiet, not jammed full of rude big city tourist types. The beach was well kept and had CLEAN restrooms!!

We came here for lunch/a picnic after a day at Tawas Point State Park & Dog Beach. We were disappointed after our day at the state park but wow did this little park perk us up! There were plenty of parking spots. Tons of picnic tables. Shaded areas and grassy areas. A little beach with a beautiful view. Dog friendly and even had a station for doggy bags in case your pet pooped during their visit. Highly recommend for the beach or even a quick bite to eat while watching Lake Huron.

Great place to visit, beaches are large and protected by the bay. Very fun small family friendly community.
