Located 12 miles NW of Manton via M-42 and 31 Road.
I live close by and this campground it is called Baxter Bridge campground.
Hand pump well water to drink and vault toilets, no power hook-ups.
This camp has lots of mature pines to camp under sites are flat enough for tents and with all the pine needles on some sights makes for soft ground.
BTW Old US 131 campground is up stream on old 131 and the river about 5 miles as the crow flies, 15 miles by car.
Great Place! 25 Rustic Sites. 3 different types of sites. From tents, Hammocks, and 5th wheels. This place is built for all of them. Situated right on the Manistee River. Open sites to Secluded ones. Well maintained also.
