First, let me say we enjoyed our stay very much and plan to do it again next year, BUT, FISHERMAN'S COVE RV Resort is something of an "enigma" for me. It's like two(2) different worlds.. half of it is an upscale Glamping Resort with beautiful level Paver Pads wide and spacious and beautifully landscaped with Palm trees and hedges in-between the Sites. The other half is a throwback to the old style R.V. Parks with very narrow Sites, unlevel "dirt" parking area for your RV, a small concrete pad with a wooden picnic table, and then a dirt area to park your car/truck, no space in-between the RV's, no real landscaping, some old trees and a narrow road (difficult and tight to get your RV backed into) and the hookups for water , electric and sewage is in the back of the site.
Fisherman's Cove is in Beautiful setting with water views, updated Rec. Room, offices swimming pool, Laundry Room, Showers and bath rooms, etc., etc.
Best part was working with the staff and especially "BETH N."....she was outstanding, pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.....Great job Beth.
So ...... whether it's "Great" (New area) or just so-so (old area) depends on where your Site is..

Excellent RV resort! VERY clean and well kept amenities. The owner and staff are very focused on making sure their customers have a wonderful time while at their facility and promptly address any issues. Beth, the office facilitator, is ABSOLUTELY the best! Very helpful and always enjoyable to work with when booking or resolving issues.
Delightful stay at Fisherman's Cove RV Resort! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Beth, the Office Facilitator, with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment throughout our 6-month stay. The grounds were immaculate, with well-maintained facilities and beautiful landscaping. We appreciated the spacious RV sites, offering plenty of room for our vehicle and outdoor relaxation.
The amenities were top-notch, providing endless entertainment options for all ages. Whether we were lounging by the pool, enjoying a game of pickleball, or soaking in the hot tub in the evenings, there was never a dull moment. The on-site activities and events added an extra layer of fun to our stay, creating wonderful memories for our family. Access to the boat ramp was also a must for us!
Furthermore, the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. We took advantage of local beaches, excellent dining, and other entertainment around the Sarasota, FL area.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience at Fisherman's Cove RV Resort. The combination of outstanding service, amenities, and location made it a memorable stay, and we can't wait to return in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic RV getaway!"
Fisherman's Cove is our home away from home! It truly feels like a close neighborhood. So many amenities- from the huge clubhouse with a separate game room, to the outdoor patio with always sparkling pool, hot tub, fire pit, and kitchen/bar area. Restrooms, laundry area are ALWAYS super clean! The staff is there when you need them. Every year- we see something new added! (This year- a doggy wash station!) I particularly love the scheduled events- whether it's card/game night, entertainment on the patio with foodtruck, arts & crafts, TOO many to mention! It's truly a "gem"!
