Located 25 miles from Plattsburgh and 35 miles from Lake Placid.
I-87 Southbound: Take Exit # 33 to US Rte. 9 and go 8 miles south. I-87 Northbound: Take Exit # 32 to US Rte. 9 and go north on US 9 for 3 miles.
Stopped in with no reservation. Contacting these guys can be a bit tricky as it's pretty much only 2 people doing everything. New owners as of last year so some of the old reviews may not quite reflect the current state of the campground.
They were very friendly and accommodating. Many of the amenities were ooder but in good working order. Small store on site with pretty impressive hours.
8am to 9pm. Pet friendly place. Had a full hookup back in site with 50 amp power available. Got our propane tank filled on the way out too! If you're looking for a spot in the northern Adirondacks, give it a shot.
We stayed at the cabins for a few nights and it had just the outdoors rustic touch we were looking for. Close to hiking and local tourist attraction highly suggest this spot for your next family adventure. They also provide RV and tent camping.
Very amazing place & awesome experience here!! the owners were very welcoming & responded fast to any questions i had prior to booking. highly recommend this place, & can’t wait to visit again soon next time i camp out in the Adirondacks!
