From jct Hwy 22 & Hwy 372: Go 1/4 mi E on Hwy 372, then 3-1/2 mi NE on Hwy 313.
Our day tubing was amazing. My partner is handicapped in a wheelchair and they accommodated him in every way. We were greeted in a friendly manner, the trip down the river is beautiful. Just enough easy rapids to make it fun and calm waters to soak in the beauty. Thanks to all of you at Battenkill River Sports for taking the time to make my family get away day GREAT !!! We will be back soon !!
This is my second time coming around, we brought our friends with for the trip & we all had a blast. The woman who owns is so helpful & nice. She kept us updated on opening due to delays with rain & showed she was concerned with her guests safety. I love that we can bring our own tubes & coolers without being charged an arm and a leg or being forced to rent their tubes & coolers like some of their competitors. The younger male who drove us to the drop spot was polite, funny & helpful as well. It was a great experience & I'll deff recommend to my friends & will be returning for more summer fun!
Loved every minute of my stay here! Suzanne and staff are so friendly, accommodating, and were very polite. The campsites are huge - there is so much space for activities. They are also pet-friendly which is awesome. The bathrooms are very clean. The campsite is very well kept. I cannot begin to describe how beautiful the stars were at night. The staff is also kind enough to make sure to welcome you into the site and provide you with garbage bags to help keep the site clean!
My favorite part is that the sites are on the river so enjoying the sun and bathing in the river was a fun way to spend the day. My friends and I also took advantage of their kayak and tubing service and it was such a refreshing trip down the river. They also have a shuttle that will take you to different drop-offs for different trip times.
I would definitely recommend to all my friends and family and cannot wait to come back and stay here again!

Before Suzanne took over I went a few times and it was great. After she took over it was a terrible experience and not one to bother with, she and her employees were just entirely aggravating. Some other posters saying they've gone out of business, which I can only hope is true, couldn't happen to a more deserving business.
If I had to say anything about Battenkill River Sports It would be... Wow! Found the campsite while on my last minute search for somewhere to camp labor day weekend. I had such a wonderful time with my friends labor day weekend I booked a second time and spent the past weekend camping again with my family at the campsite. We are all so impressed with Suzanne and the staff and how super accommodating and friendly they are! The campsites are private, big and beautiful! The bathroom facilities are also super clean! We spent the daylight hours kayaking and tubing on the river and the nighttime hours nestled by our campfires under the beautiful starry sky! We all had such a wonderful time and recommend anyone who is looking for a great weekend in the outdoors to check out Battenkill River Sports!
