Leisure Lake Membership Resort is a family camping and RV resort. Enjoy the great outdoors without the long drive.
Located in Joliet, Illinois, we are 40 miles from Chicago and only minutes from Chicago Land's Route 66 Speedway, 10 miles from Metra Train Station.
We are owned and operated by the members for the members. We do allow Good Sam members in based on availability. There are many organized activities, dances, and live entertainment provided throughout the year. We have many amenities to offer! Featuring a 24 acre stocked fishing lake, 2 acre sand bottom swimming lake, swimming pool, convenience store, and free WiFi.
Paid membership fees for 2 years only to belittled by manager for asking a question. The "lake" is small and the fishing is non-existent. Its at the intersection of 2 major HWY's so Noise is a constant. Overall its a lot of money for little to no amenities. I have yet to see anything that resembles a resort. This is a trailer park and not a good one.
We love the peaceful atmosphere at Liesure Lake. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help you out.
The facilities are very nice and clean. The pool is rarely crowded and well maintained. We love staying here....
**I took my entire family out to Leisure Lake for a three day weekend. Four generations, and everyone had a great time. The staff is Extremely friendly and helpful. Me & my Pops both caught a couple nice size Catfish, my little 5&7 yr old Nephews were excited they caught a few Blue gills. Even my Teenage Daughters enjoyed themselves at the Pool and swimming lake. We've decided to make this a yearly event
Staff was SUPER friendly. We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed every day. Pool was nice. Kids loved the pond/beach area. Some people have complained about the sulfur smell in the water. Spend $20 on Amazon for a in-line filter and you will have zero smell. Definitely will be back.
Nice clean quiet park. We’re here for work not for leisure, so we don’t use lake/pool/etc. would recommend not using the laundry house as the water will stain your clothes, leave them smelling bad, and the dryers will randomly stop minutes after starting so repeatedly you’ll think you have dry laundry when actually you have to keep pumping coins in it to get it to go for longer than 5 minutes at a time. It took me over two hours to dry two half loads of clothing.
