A little tight for big 5th wheel like ours. A lit of tree need to be trimmed for the height of our camper.

Amazing campground and neat. Everything is perfect, thanks to Mr Ernie. His wife, the front counter lady, Dona if I’m not mistaken, is the nicest person ever. I 100% recommend this place

This is a great place to camp. My parents like to stay here for the summer when they come to visit the grandkids, so we spend a lot of time out here. Everything is clean, and everyone is courteous and friendly. The pool is fantastic, and there is always something going on every week from cookouts and music to crafts and movies on rainy days. There is always a parade and party for the Fourth, which is great fun. There are also a couple of nearby forest preserves for exploring and hiking. Only two downsides. First is the mosquitoes. They do spray the camp grounds, but if you venture onto the river or into the forest preserve in the summer, beware, as the mosquitoes are near a plague level. Other downside is the grounds are right across the street from a gun club. They shoot long hours and often late into the night, and especially if the wind is from the right direction, it can sound like a battlefield. Kind of ruins the peaceful country atmosphere, but this place is still great.

The staff is very friendly and the clubhouse is very nice. We didn't use the shower house since our trailer has everything, but the clubhouse restrooms were very clean. Great activites all weekend long for kids and adults. We are already planning another trip back next season.

Lots of Karen's here, lot of the lots are privately owned, people not very social, its kinda like visiting a nursing home. Went fishing got yelled at by a Karen because all the lots along the water are privately owned and they don't want you fishing from shore by their lots. We were quiet and were not drinking just doing a little fishing. If your look8ng to have a good time and be social I don't recommend camping here. Not recommended for sure. We will not come here again.
