Had an amazing experience at Vel Terra! Beautiful, well equipped sites with lots of amenities at the campground. My Sprinter and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the management couldn't have been more pleasant. Highly recommend!
spent a nice night here, just off the main road, power and water, dumpstation, only coin operated showers we struck in all our USA finding quarters is a nuisance. I thought $45 was a little steep, considering no showers, and no waste water hookup. The toilets etc were immaculately clean.

We found this place by an internet search when other campgrounds in the area were booked. Didn't know what to expect but were hopeful. Welcomed by Jeff he helped us get our new camper into its spot as we were new to it. He is so friendly! Nice quiet campground with enough space between campers. Tent camping looked to be a good set up as well.
It's off the beaten path and when the skies are clear it's amazing.
Bathrooms as clean as home. Indoor room is a nice place to use the internet, chill, spend time with family.
The dump is so clean as well!
The area is cute. Elizabeth is a cute town and there's much to do there.
Galena is nearby with a beautiful ride to get there.
We came for Halloween our first year and Galena celebrates big.
Not one complaint. Became regulars since our first visit.
Small, quiet campground near Elizabeth, IL. The hosts, Jeff and Katie, are the best around. We watched the badger game with them and Jeff even made us brats and offered to pick us up from Oktoberfest the next day if we needed him to. Everything is clean and updated. Mowed trails are an added bonus. Hilly gravel driveway in and out.
