About Campground

Let the beauty of Idaho surround you in the Kamiah Valley. Set along the Northwest Passage Scenic Byway, this campground is directly across from the Clearwater River and the Heart of the Monster. You'll find plenty of recreation in the Kamiah Valley, from tubing down the Clearwater River to exploring the area's renowned fishing spots. The Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery expedition traveled through this region - the homeland of the Nez Perce - and it's still a delight to explore. The scenic byway is a favorite of motorcyclists and driving enthusiasts. Centrally located, this KOA is a short drive to some of Idaho's best OHV trails, hot springs and skiing locales. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 100 feet.

The staff went out of their way to make the best of my stay with a small tent, motorcycle and heavy rain. Everybody was extremely friendly, helpful and the amenities were the cleanest I have had in a camp site. Absolute gem!

The bathrooms were very clean and spacious. The campground was immaculate. A lot of trees to help protect us from the hot sun. One of the best campgrounds we’ve been to.

We are planning a reunion at this campground next year 2024. Tesla, and the entire staff, including the manager have been so accommodating, and helpful! Sometimes, I will call several times in one day just to ask questions or check on things, and they always make the time to help me. I drove up there before booking this place and they took the time to show me the cabins, motel rooms, RV sites, event room, pool, arcade room, and the entire grounds. If you are planning a group event or just a family vacation, I would recommend this KOA! I will post again after we have our event.

Stayed in a cabin with 4 adults and 2 dogs for a weekend wedding. It was perfect! I plan to come back to actually be able to explore the gorgeous area. Really enjoyed the stay.

Perfectly rustic for the location, just across from a historical site and walking path, near the river. Close to town. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms and great service family owned awesome showers. Really a small homey feel. Thank you for always having a smile, acomodating where you can and working so hard it does not go unseen and is very appreciated.
