About Campground

The property has so much history. Larry purchased the 16 acres in 1972 as nothing but a field. His dream was to raise Arabian Horses, so that is what the property was set up to do and he did just that, very successfully. We did convert a few acres into a Market Garden a few years ago and started Kraay's Market & Garden, you can find us online. We would love to share our place with you! Please note: there is only one 30 amp hookup available per night, please request at time of arrival if needed.

Directions

We're located just north of Highway 20 and just south of Baseline Road on Schoessler Lane. The entrance to the farm has a sign that says "Rafter K Arabians" and a banner that says, “Kraay’s Market Garden” and a beautiful weeping willow on the opposing side. You can't miss us!

Be warned if you sign up… They send a lot of emails. Weird ones sometimes. The reminders to submit an order is one thing, but some of the other emails they send seem to show that they are confused with using Facebook vs. mass email. Maybe it’s a valley boomer thing.

What a gorgeous location and drive through central Idaho with 360º mountain views.

The farm is set up as a Hipcamp as well, so it was bustling when we got there with lots of family playing yard games and cooking out. There was also a porta-potty to accommodate this set up.

I really loved the greenhouses where we could make a healthy meal with kale, tomatoes and green onions along with farm fresh eggs and quiche from the market. The hosts took Venmo so it made it easier to buy multiple items rather than what we just had cash on hand for.

We loved our visit!
