Off Highway 93 about 9 miles south of Carey, 16 miles northeast of Richfield, and 34 miles northeast of Shoshone. A BLM sign on Highway 93 marks the turn. The recreation sites are about one mile from the intersection.
Slept here before fishing season opened. Peaceful. The covered pavilions and clean pit tiolets were great. The sound of the spring fed creek was excellent. Good location and great lower elevation camping option. I expect this place to be more busy during fishing season.
We stayed at the smaller (North) site for 8 days and loved it! Beautiful spot.... and a plus was having access to a vault restroom. The only part I disliked was that the dogs from the farm next door often frequented our camp and pooped everywhere and sprayed our outdoor items. Also, there are no trash bins available so please be sure to pack out your trash! I definitely would stay here again!
It is a single campsite that is free for up to 14 days. It has a firepit and picnic table right next to a river. Camping at it's best
Only 3 spaces, well kept road, the handicap space is all by itself with its own vault toilet! Clean and peaceful, right next to the creek! Not for big rigs , perfect for small ro medium campers, vans and small RV. Groomed flat areas for tents. Please keep this space clean as it is a super nice spot.
