Located approximately 9 miles West of Burley, Idaho on the south side of the Snake River.
Didn’t see any feces or diapers, so not sure about the other poster’s experience. I found the site to be very peaceful and serene. Woke up in the morning to the sound of geese honking. Had good cell service.
Fun times. Nice camp spot. Caught a few bass. Weather was nice other than our heat wave. A lot of flies.
Quiet campsites along the Snake River. Some sites include a dock. There are two boat ramps. Super clean bathrooms.
My trip took me southeast towards Texas from Washington. I found this place on the second night of our trip. Be aware that Google maps shows both a Milner Recreation Area Campground and Milner Recreation Area. We went to the campground first and found a place that would be great for RVs and travel trailers but we were tent camping. We then found the Recreation area that boasted 26 spots. We stayed in spot 23 and it was amazing. It's right on the river with great swimming access and it's private. The site offered plenty of shade to set the tents in. We found no trash or anything else at the site and my kids had a blast.
