Koenig's Winter Resort is an historical RV park located in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas.
This is a small family-owned park set on a rural road surrounded by pastures and other residential parks. It's very quiet and affordable. The mostly seasonal residents hail from Canada or the Midwest and you'll not find a more welcoming atmosphere or friendlier people anywhere. There are regular activities, not fancy but enjoyable. We particularly appreciated the weekly potlucks as there are some mighty fine cooks there.
My husband and I started with a camp trailer in 2013. We stayed in this park and after about two months we liked it so well we purchased a place. The park is clean, management is wonderful and everyone is family. It is a down to earth, homey feeling park. All residents are like family and watch out for each other.
If I can put no star I would. Save your money go elsewhere. They will accept you then come up with thing to evict you or something. Old lady in front is very rude and unprofessional.
My lease is ruled as invalid due to the fact they let my wife sign for me. Lease is under my name. 😱
We love this quaint RV park. They have been kind, helpful and full of neighborhood activities that make you feel like family.
This is home away from home for many seeking to escape northern winters, with monthly activity’s scheduled, dinners, games, spacious community rooms, billiards room. Facilities include spacious clean laundry rooms, restrooms and showers. It’s always clean and well kept facilities and grounds.
In the summer it’s a quiet beautiful place for those looking to be located near an abundance of outdoor vacation adventures like beaches, wildlife parks, hiking, biking, fishing and much more. It’s right in the heart of plenty of shopping and restaurants for the city lovers also!
With weather that has been incredible even with the summer heat! Konigs has a cool calming atmosphere created by a park wide grove of swaying palm trees and ocean breezes. Surrounded by local ranchers you may even get to view the new Spring colts and calves among other beautiful wildlife like bright Orioles and humming birds! It’s been a delight.
