Primitive campground without individual sites. Campers are allowed to camp where they desire and may or may not have a picnic table. Three vault toilets dispersed throughout the campground. ALL GENERATORS AND MUSIC OFF (10pm-7am)
Good times. The roads could use a pass with a grader or something but they're passable.
Day use only in late September. Positives - had the place to ourselves. Good area to hang-out for the day with plenty of sand, access to water for kayaks or SUP, shade, and a modest ATV area for playing around. Negatives - tons a gnats until the wind picked up; main gravel road disappears very quickly once past the fee station and offshoots are generally very sandy as in you can get stuck if pulling something heavy.
Bathrooms need to be cleaned more for the price you pay nightly but this place is beautiful.
Cool little area. Be better if there were more of and a cleaner beach areas
Loved this spot! Gorgeous place to see the stars! Visited in early September, weather was perfect, mosquitoes get pretty gnarly around 7p-8p but then they leave you alone. Site was big, lots of places to run with my dog, got to play with the truck too!
