Wow. How did I never visit this place before? What a nature gem! Varied plant life, streams, great trails, cool trees and nice campsites. The bathrooms were not locked, and beyond clean. It was beautiful there, a nice place to take the kids, and since some of mine got on my nerves, I would really love to come back for a date hike with my man. Not too tough, not lame, the trails are nice for outdoorsy couples who want some time away. I plan on coming back all the time, A++.
Our favorite natural area in the metro. It's never crowded, and a two or three mile walk here covers a beautiful range of terrain. Lovely in every season.
