Bought a modular through them....it was a great experience!
Coy was so patient with us as he walked us through the decision making process and also changing our floorplan. Can't wait til next spring/summer when those floorplans go from a drawing on paper to reality!
Buyer beware on used mobile homes. We bought a used mobile home from here. They worked with us on the price. They delivered our home and blocked and anchored it. They did everything our contract said. But when we were looking at the house, I questioned them about leaking around the windows because some of the walls looked weird. The paint had rippled on the seams. He told us it was because the previous owner painted over the vinyl sheetrock.
They knocked off some of the price because we thought we could do the minor repairs and save.
But most of the windows were installed with big gaps around the siding with no flashing etc. Water is leaking in behind the sheetrock and the wood in the windows are rotting and moldy because of this. I found this when I started to repair the vinyl where it had rippled. Also the trailer has no flashing under the siding, or around the windows. When they delivered it they damaged a waterpipe and told us that would be a cheap thing to fix and took off 20 dollars, which cost us alot more than that. Also the water pipes had rust buildup so thick the water barely came out.
There was a desk left in the house and we found out why. The floor needed to be repaired there because it was rotted and that wasnt the only place. We have a big problem and he sold us the house as is. All I can say is buyer beware. Don't buy a used mobile home from them without having it inspected. And make sure you have insurance to protect yourself, and don't buy one, as an, as is sale. We know now that was a costly mistake., and why he made sure it was on the contract. Do your due diligence and if possible go elsewhere to purchase a use mobile home. Needless to say 4 months later and we still arent moved in it because of all the problems. 👎
Love this place sales department know what there talking about. The guy that helped us to make our own plans did a Great job. Yes you can change the plans to your liking.
I had a manufactured home built and spent an additional $3000 for concrete skirting. One section of it had not stayed level and I have a gap between the house and skirting about 12 feet long. They were to fix it because it was still under warranty. I called and called and they kept telling me it would be fixed. Two years later and still nothing. Also were supposed to fix the siding that was rippled because it was too tight. I worked 2 jobs for over 5 years to save for the down payment for my dream home. I paid over 80 grand for my home and am very dissatisfied with what happened with the so called under warranty repairs .
