From Highway 218: Take exit 189 for Lone Tree Rd, turn west onto Lone Tree Rd & take the 1st left onto Big Woods Rd, then turn left at E Lake St, the campground will be on the right.
An EXCELLENT campground and park. Well taken care of, full hook-up spots right next to the lake, has a bike/walk trail that goes around the lake and connects to miles of trail system, big clean bathroom/shower rooms, a nice little play ground, fishing docks, etc. Close to town but far enough away. A++
Dirty bath houses not cleaned daily. Recycled asphalt at campsites instead of gravel is super messy. Mostly locals camping here and not overly friendly. No shade. Grass was all dead.
Nice little campground in Cedar Falls. Fairly open area as trees are all immature. Small playground for kids near the bathrooms. Short walk to the lake.
