This was the 16th Annual Mother/Daughter camp. We rented cabins 1 & 2 and set up a tent between them. The weather was good, we could have a camp fire, the restroom was very clean and warm.

We walked the trails, well maintained.

It was a great weekend at a great place.

I am happy to give this location a positive review. The new ownership/management change has turned this place around. So, I will say, if you used to stay here, and were frustrated by the old regime, pop in and give them a try. They do still have a quite a few long term residents, but it is not as prohibitive as before, and they are all in the first few lanes. (there were definitely some issues with this in the past) The grounds are impeccable, they have cleaned some things up and are definitely working on the property. The signage has been updated, some cosmetic updates to the bath house, and it appears they are continuing to work on resolving the issues in the clubhouse. It is still closed because it is not finished, but am confident they are working on it. This is a great location for group gatherings. While it is like any other RV park, where you are slotted close to your neighbor they have it set up so you are back to back. all sites are pull through, with power water and sewer (I am making an assumption based on what i saw, so verify) The sites are long, but vary, so be sure to read their descriptions and maps. They have some sites that they call buddy sites, they are no closer than any other site, but instead of being back to back with other site, they face each other. While I can't speak for the other 100ish people that were with the group, I can speak to the fact, that unlike previous years, I heard not a single complaint. We were happy to be back at this location, and are looking forward to many years to come.

It was our first time camping with our camper trailer here at this spot.

We met the caretakers Ted and Kathy

Very friendly and Ted explained everything to us

My wife and I enjoyed it here however I thought we might be a bit closer to the ocean but we weren't. We couldn't even access the ocean from the trails that head that way from the campsite.

It was very peaceful there and at night we could hear the ocean. It's just too far away for us. I will definitely stay here again.

Ted and his wife the managers are super nice people. They are very helpful and very welcoming; definitely makes you want to come back just to hang w them. The whole park has all the amenities extremely nice and clean bathrooms. Location is perfect in between Westport and Tokeland. We caught razor clams and crabs came back they have a nice cleaning station. Didn’t stay in any rooms “cabins” but they look nice. Was out of propane when we arrived Ted came over immediately and filled my 2 tanks. Definitely will be back thanks Gary & Heather

We had a cabin and buddy camping spots.

The cabin was super cute even had a toilet. My kids said it was comfy it was a bit chilly but it was 28degrees at night.

The camp sites were great. We'd like a bit bigger fire pits but that's being petty. Full hookups, super clean bathrooms with showers. Check in process was easy and Kathy was so kind. Grounds are clean, dog area and a small playground. No beach access but that was not a problem. Had access 1mile away.

We will be back for 2024 Christmas camping and will be renting the room to do our cookie decorating.

Very impressed with everything.
