This motel was conveniently located for our purposes (driving from Colorado to Nebraska), and it provided us with much needed rest.

The bottom of the pool was covered with leaves, but this didn't stop us from jumping in to cool down after a long, hot day of driving last August.

Our room was comfortable, if a bit small, and the shower was clean and had good water pressure.

The breakfast was ample and we enjoyed the variety of tasty items to choose from.

The staff people we met were friendly and helpful. In fairness to these folks and the owners of this motel, the hospitality business is toughtoughtough, especially after the pandemic lockdown. We try to stay at independent operations like this one, and our efforts are usually rewarded by cleanliness, professionalism and friendly workers.

NOTE: If you do stay at this motel, you owe it to yourself to visit the Fick Fossil and History Museum in Oakley. I'll review this gem in a separate writeup for the museum itself.

Stayed here on our way through Kansas to Colorado due to a snow storm. The room was clean and had nice little touches such as pretty quilts. They had a good breakfast available too.

I am a single woman traveling alone with my dog and I felt very welcome, safe, and comfortable here! Staff was so nice and room was very clean and comfortable - I even had a beautiful quilt on my bed. Outside was well lit and had cameras so I felt very secure taking my dog out to the pet area. Also - the breakfast was delicious! Thank you so much for everything!

You ever have friends or meet people who dream of owning a B&B because they love people. Kansas Country Inn must be owned by people like that. Super cute motel. Well cared for. The owners obviously care as much about your experience as the money. Highly recommended.

I was traveling alone with my dog and this place was great. The room was clean and welcoming. The office was decorated cute and seasonal. It had a small business feel of people who cared about giving good value and hospitality. The included breakfast was home cooked. You just don't find that anywhere. Nice egg casserole and cinnamon rolls along with other fare like oatmeal and waffles. My dog left his favorite toy and I called, they tracked it down and called me back. Truly amazing place. I will push through or cut my day short to stay here again. Thank you.
