About Campground

Nestled in the heart of Vermont’s Champlain Valley, at the foot of the Green Mountains, Lake Dunmore Kampersville is one of New England’s truly outstanding campgrounds and RV parks, and Vermont camping at its best! Sparkling clean Lake Dunmore serves as the focal point of Kamperville’s exciting Vermont camping.

Whether you fishing, boating, hiking, or just relaxing, Lake Dunmore is the perfect place to vacation in Vermont.

Our campground is located in the forest surrounding Lake Dunmore in central Vermont, which is a 10 minute drive from the town of Middlebury. Lake Dunmore provides access to fishing and boating, while the campground offers a deli, general store and activities/pools at the Rec Hall. Camping options include weekend vacations and short term visits, as well as “seasonal” campers, who wish to stay for a majority of the summer. We are open to both tent camping and fully serviced RV sites, which include:

Great stay, tons of stuff to do for the kids. Our camper site was very large with all the hookups. Fast and easy check. On-site grocery and deli. Heated pool and unheated splash pool for the little ones. They had fun events all weekend for the kids (hayride, a carnival and a dance party). Definitely a go to spot that’s close to home.

We love camping here because there is lots to do with the grandchildren and the campground does a lot for campers like tie die and crafts and hay rides. There is more noise than a lot of people like because it is usually a completely full campground with hundreds of kids. We camped in our pop up thank qwqq because it rained all day Sunday so we had to spend the whole day in it watching movies and trying to keep a 10 month old baby occupied but other than the rain it was a great weekend.

Went with son's young family and dog in tent. Accommodations were great with water and power hook ups. Bathrooms nearby. Traffic was respectful. People were friendly. Pool was clean with plenty of seating. Fun water slide and games. Lakefront was clean with views.

I have to say, although these bathrooms look nice, they're not practical. There just isnt enough actual toilets to use. I like the showers and big bathrooms on one side, but maybe on the other side, have smaller bathrooms or something. We found ourselves having to either go back, or go to another bathroom to find an open one. in addition to that, the amount of puddles that form due to the lack of drains is insane, there should be drains in the hallway and perhaps shower curtains to prevent water from splashing everywhere, i also think that if you advertise the pools as heated they should to add on to this my main gripe is with the lake. It has gone downhill for the last few years and my family has been coming here for 4 generations. You can't rent boats or atleast the boathouse is completely useless. The amount of weeds and algae on their beach is incredibly disgusting. And the most disappointing is getting rid of their trampoline on the lake. The only good thing about this place is gone 1/5 stars

We have been coming to Kampersville for years! Great facilities. Friendly staff. The activities could be improved, they used to be very well thought out and timed wonderfully. No activities during the week it seems, all on the weekends.
