Paradise awaits you at Island Retreat! Conveniently located near the boat launch, bike path, restaurants,& entertainment. Each site is equipped with concrete pads to accommodate all size RV's and Full Hookups. Amenities include restrooms with showers, a beautifully renovated clubhouse complete with kitchen and TV, a pool, firepit, dog run, cornhole, and planned activities year-round. Island Retreat is the ideal location, surrounded by beautiful trees and located directly across the street from the lagoon/Mo's Landing. Guests rave about the park being in a quiet, peaceful location and the gorgeous walking and bike trails that are in front of the park on Fort Morgan Road.
Top notch facilities. Modern, super clean bathrooms, nice pool. Good hook ups. Sites rather close to each other but people were very respectful of the quiet times. Few sites get shade. Staff round in the campsite around the clock, are very friendly and helpful.
Close to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Nice drive to Ft Morgan area and Bon Secour. Nice bike and walking paths in the area.
We came into Gulf shores on a whim w no reservations. We pulled into Island retreat. It was love at first sight! Beautiful entrance. They were so friendly. Our site was great, large and accommodating. We loved the bike trails from the park to downtown in minutes plus so close to so many restaurants! We even stayed a second week while there! Didn’t want to leave! Planning on coming back in the winter!
Spent one week at Island Retreat and enjoyed the stay. Our camp site (125) had shade most of the day for our motor home. Ample room to back our 40 ft unit into. Concrete pad was real nice. Pool was clean and water temperature just right. We will most definitely stay there again on our next trip to Gulf Shores. Did not give rooms a rating cause we were in a motor home.
We spent our first trip to Gulf Shores at Island Retreat RV Park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the location, it was close to the beach and plenty of areas to walk. The laundry room and showers were very clean. We did not use the exercise room.
Should have taken more pictures. My stay was amazingly peaceful and exciting. Love the clubhouse, playground, bike trails, bathrooms and the people here were soo friendly.
We enjoyed everything the town and park had to offer. I highly recommend this park. Spot was great for our 38' fifth wheel and truck.
We will definitely be back.
