From tiny to big the fishing its fun nice place to walk around camping is nice good bathroom and shower two cabins we go anytime we have time we love taking our dogs
One of the nicer places to fish in SE Iowa. Has a small gravel boat ramp and the shore access is at least 7/10. Only draw backs are its a bit pressured and can get crowded fast if people are there. Trout are stocked twice a year.
I wanted cabins, fishing, campfire and a nice view for my bachelorette party and that was exactly what I got! I loved that the cabins where tucked away in a cove of trees so we where more secluded from everyone else and it had its own pond to fish out of and watch the wild life. I can’t get over how clean the water was in the bigger lake. Didn’t catch any fish but will definitely come back and try again. It was worth the 4 hour drive.
