Staff was wonderful. We had a lost and found claim and they were successully on it right away. We stayed in a 4br cabin. The amenities were great. One couch did have peeling leather, normal wear and tear, and that's my only request for improvement. Merchandise prices were reasonable in the lobby gift shop, we bought my son some new swim trunks there for only $8. Can't wait to go back!

Great accommodations. Friendly staff. Great restaurant. Family friendly programming.

With my birthday falling a week before Christmas, it's always challenging to find something special that gives this toddler mom a bit of a break but welcomes holiday cheer. This year, we found the perfect thing--Honey Creek Resort's Breakfast with Santa package. We took full advantage and it was an absolute blast. We created memories we will cherish for years and I got the escape I needed to kick things in to high-gear for the upcoming holidays.

The room was clean and up to date. Aquatic center had lifeguards on duty and felt well managed. Enjoyed the restaurant's menu and the gift shops convenience. Front desk was available to help and was friendly from the moment we walked in.

The staff at Honeycreek are fantastic! Everyone was so helpful! We brought our dog and upon arrival, the concierge gave us a dog bowl and toy for our pup! So thoughtful!

The first night we were too late for dinner, but the waitress who closed brought us a container full of popcorn! Which was fantastic and fun! The hostess in the morning gave my daughter a pastry and even heated it for her!

The room was clean and had everything we needed, including a fridge and microwave so we were able to bring snacks for the room.

The water park was clean and fun! My Daughter is 9 and it was a good size for a day and a half. There is not a ton to do in the winter, but for a weekend away it was perfect just to relax at the water park.

We recently stayed at Honey Creek Resort with the whole family and had a great time. Unfortunately the great time had nothing to do with the accommodations, as Honey Creek left much to be desired.

While the rooms were decently clean upon arrival, the lack of housekeeping services meant unmade beds and insufficient towels through our stay. Additionally, the room had drawbacks like a thin quilt, poorly insulated windows, a cracked sink, and frequent key card failures.

The restaurant service was disappointingly slow with undercooked food, particularly hash browns, and our antsy children were served last. The coffee also may as well have been water.

The water park has limited operating hours from 11 am to 9 pm, which left 5 hours each morning from the time the kids got up before we could enjoy the resorts main attraction. There is a prohibition of outside food, yet when I ordered a single personal pan pizza from their snack bar, I waited 30 minutes. This, coupled with a shortage of pool towels made the water park experience sub par.

Overall, staff was very friendly, but the resort needs to address issues such as housekeeping, room utility maintenance, slow restaurant service, limited water park hours, and inefficiencies in service to enhance the guest experience.

We had a nice stay. The staff was friendly and my kids loved the waterpark. What ruined it for us was the restaurant. Granted we had a large party of 17 the wait time was exceedingly long and I didn't consider them busy. Another couple who arrived after us was served before we were. They had run out of fries and baked potatoes but we weren't notified until our food was arriving. When some of our food was served it looked like it sat under the heat lamp for a while. Some orders were incorrect. Our waitress was nice and apologetic but we had to search for her on two different occasions to refresh our drinks and bring the bill. She gave everyone a 5% discount. We were going to eat breakfast there again in the morning but opted not to based on our dinner experience.
