On Interstate 35 take Exit 4. Take Hwy 69 east 4 miles to Davis City. Take Hwy J - 66 / Dale Miller Road south 3 miles to the park entrance.
Not a lot of traffic in the winter, so the roads weren't plowed/campsite isn't kept up but Nine Eagle's is still awesome to go. The trails were untouched and peaceful, I hiked because there wasn't a lot of snow but you could snowshoe if there was more snow. The pit toilets are open - just do your due diligence to clean up after yourself 🙂
Nine eagles is a beautiful park, we were very impressed. They have rental cabins, rv park and an equestrian center.
