Nice place to relax. If you play Pokemon Go there are 5 Gmys and Poke Stops surrounding it.
In that area I slept under picnic Table. I walked to Dollar General and bought a Tote. I had to get on Greyhound to return to West Burlington....
Ottumwa does a great job lighting up downtown for the holidays. Walking through the beautiful arrangement of sponsored Christmas trees, dedicated to loved ones, left me appreciative of the true meaning of Christmas.
As much as I've seen this city age over the years, the heart of the city was/is downtown Ottumwa. With each revitalization, the heart of the city beats louder! Keep up the efforts, invest more in infrastructure, stem urban sprawl, and Ottumwa will grow.
