Very friendly manager, price is correct ($20 no hook-up) but showers and restrooms not clean at all. Good for a quick stop on the go but for more nights there are probably better campgrounds around.

Was on my way home from Gardnerville, NV to Santa Barbara, CA in my lil RV and decided to stop in Big Pine, Ca to spend the night. I found Glacier View Campground right as I was pulling into town, which was so convenient. It was $25 for the night with electric hook up and a nice view of the mountains. It's a smaller park with restrooms and showers you can pay for. The camp host was very personable and helpful when I had a few questions. Spent a nice quiet evening and was on my way the next morning. I think I will probably stay here again in the future when making my next trip up to see the family.

Nice campsite – good sized pitches, flush toilets with hot water in the sinks. Seems kind of pricey at $20 per night and I wouldn't recommend for tent camping – you're so close to the highway, the noise and lights are distracting while you're trying to sleep!

The short story: Quiet and nice campground with a few longer term residents, cheap showers but absolutely disgusting.

The longer story: We've been boondocking for over a year with no hookups so we thought we'd splurge on a couple nights of unlimited electricity and showers with running hot water. We were medium surprised to find the prices had increased from $15 to $25. We were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to fit in our 35' skoolie and Corolla. The neighbors were nice and kept to themselves. The shower stalls were atrocious! 🤢 For an extra $10 per vehicle per night you should be able to afford unlimited Dollar Tree shower curtains and bleach. There was so much mold I chose to wash myself with water from our kettle in our bus instead of shower in there again, after a 12 mile hike. The bathrooms weren't too bad and had a heater on at night.

All in all: Give it a shot. Maybe they cleaned the shower room. This place needs more care but is an okay stop.
