Pay to fish, not conducive for good rving, way to much noise. And to expensive. Gave us a big Hassel over paying 5 dollars for showers after paying a monthly rate of 650 for just a 2 weeks stay. Hated it!
Indy lakes is a great place to relax and take your kids fishing, or you and a buddy get in the fishing competitions for biggest carp or cat.
If you're looking for a place to fish while camping, this might be a good place. Not a traditional family friendly campground. This place is set up for anglers and not so much for campers. We paid almost $100 for two nights. Got to the campsite and it was just a small patch of gravel with hookups. No picnic table or fire ring. The guys fishing all night had some sort of alarm, alerting them of a bite. That went off several times in the middle of the night on both nights. Can't believe they would allow this type of alarm at night with all the people camping.
Have been here for a few months. They have over 50 spots most with full hook ups. It is quiet and safe. This is a fishing camp also in the warmer months with big cash prizes. Lots are spacious not under each other's awnings like other campgrounds in the area. Has a grassy front to walk your dogs.
The sites are gravel, very level, and many are shaded by mature trees. It's a fishing lake so I was worried the people fishing might be noisy, but that was not the case at all. There aren't a lot of amenities, but the camp store is open late and has a wide variety including coffee and numerous food items. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were very comfortable there.
