The Havana Riverfront Campground has twelve sites located along the beautiful Illinois River & next to the Havana Nature Center and is owned by the Havana Park District. Water and electricity are provided; a dump station is nearby. There are firepits, playgrounds, pavilions, hiking and fishing on site, the Community's Town Pool is located across the street.
Nice small campground, right next to the Illinois river. Was very interesting seeing tugboats push barges up and down the river. Can walk to town.
Amazing! This cute little campground has the friendliest host and campers. We spent the weekend there and enjoyed a wonderful river walk, great parks for kids, and the down town is right off the end of the park. 12 spots that are paved and level make it easy to have a river view weekend. Lots of river wildlife to view. Thank you Havana!!!!
Absolutely beautiful park. Free dock tie ups with plans to upgrade to 30 amp. Clean bathrooms and the tent camping area has the most clean and charming portajohn that I have ever seen! The camp host, Debbie, is amazing and pours her love in to the nature center!
Actually really like this place! Warning they don't have sewage dumps and only 30 amps. They do have someone that will dump your tanks once a week for cash or there is a dump right when you pull out.
Lady that watches the place is super friendly. Very safe place and right off the river, but far enough that you don't hear any boats or the people "hanging out" there. Spots are on the small size but they will help you back in.
