I am not sure about the experience of Hanna Montana. But $200 a night for a 2-3 bedroom cabin, with a fully equipped kitchen, lake view, and docks-the price is great. The property is beautiful the owners are great. The lighting could be brighter at night, but who wants the beautiful dark evening experience around a campfire lit up with artificial lighting. Carry a lantern. The use of water equipment is most likely based on when you visit. during the summer everything is unlocked and available-it is seasonal/weather availability. We have visited several times and loved it. Yes, I have to bring paper goods and towels, but that is the norm for resorts-it is all explained on the website rate sheet-what to bring. It sounds like Hanna didn't read about where she was staying. I would rate this location a 5-star seasonal experience.

Very nice family owned resort. Went there for years. Kids all grew up. Great times, great memories. Loved the whole area. Changed ownership a few years back. The resort continues to be a great place for family vacations and I recommend checking this resort out if you

are in the Walker/Hackensack area. Very clean. Very nice log style cabins. Beautiful interiors. Excellent tree canopy with sun and shade. LOTS to do. Good docks and sheltered bay. Sounds of loons fill the quiet nights.

Hyde a way bay is an excellent place to escape to and enjoy the peace and quiet of northern Minnesota. Our family stayed for a week and were able to stay in one cabin, it was nice to have all of the quality time together. The lodge has everything you need to have a good time and plenty of things for the kids to do if there is a rainy day. The pontoon rental was well worth every penny, you get to fish when you want or just take a leisurely stroll around the lake. You are minutes from town and there is plenty to do around the area. We will be going back and enjoying the beauty that is Hyde a way bay!

This resort is an absolute gem. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The lake is crystal clear and great for fishing or just cruising along for fun. The playgrounds will keep your kids entertained, as will the swimming beach. Erica and Adam are great hosts. The sunsets are like a slice of heaven. This place is one of the best.

Wonderful hidden resort, cabins were clean and that we really appreciated. We have been spending our main week vacation every year for more than a decade straight and don’t plan on not coming back. We enjoy the quiet simplicity of cabin life, and Hyde Away Bay Resort is really perfect for our families. Erica and Adam respond whenever we need them, which is rare. Birch Lake is a perfect size lake to have water fun, and we enjoy cruising the lake on the pontoon we rent at a local outfitter, it all works for us. Always sad to leave.
