The best experience, stayed here for a wedding across the lake. The owners even escorted us to the venue on their boat. Truly accommodating and fun!
This is certainly not the worst place we could have gone, but if you are looking for somewhere clean, with a nice beach, and owners who are not consistently socializing, this is not the place for you.
The beach area is not really a beach area. If you have kids, be sure to bring water shoes of some sort. It is mostly rocky, due to it being a boat landing, and the sand area is up a few feet away from the water.
Also, if you are not interested in befriending the owners/managers, this is not the place for you. They are frequently walking around chatting with the guests. This is fine, if you are looking to make new friends, but if you only want to say a quick 'Hi' and only talk with them if you need something, this is not the place for you.
And last, I would say the cleaning could be improved. The number of dead bugs on windows, curtains, and ledges, as well as spider webs everywhere in the cabin, it is clear they simply sweep, change bedding, and clean the toilet between guests.
Again, this is certainly not the worst place, and it is relatively inexpensive, but there is definitely room for improvement.
The cabin was very clean upon arrival. The owners are very nice and friendly. They are pretty efficient at getting supplies for the cabin in case you run out. Didn't catch many fish, but it was a blast. I will hopefully return again this summer.
