Spent Thanksgiving weekend here, not just summer spot also a nice weekend winter getaway. Itasca state park is close by. Great service! Very beautiful spring fed lake, nice beach, cabins are updated and have great beach/lake views. Highly recommend! Looking forward to a family summer cabin week at this resort.

We stayed in cabin 3 for a winter get away (ringing in the new year correctly) and our stay was remarkable! The log and pine cabin was clean, spacious, and came with full amenities. With two young children we spent our days sledding down the hill at the boat launch area which is perfect for all ages (other teenage guests were also having a blast), skating on the lake, cross country skiing, ice fishing, puzzles, playing board games, and drinking large amounts of hot chocolate! The winter scenery is picturesque with the recently built cabins and freshly fallen snow. Wanita, Jerry, Louis and Athena are wonderful hosts. We love it here and cannot wait for our next visit!
I have been to this resort now two years in a row during January both times for an ice fishing trip with friends. This resort is excellent in the living areas, accessibility to the beautiful lake, and general helpfulness from staff. We rented an ice shack and it was placed right where the fish were biting, the holes were drilled for us already, and Lou was willing to help move the shack to wherever we needed it. All around great service. The cabins are very clean and comfortable as well. On top of it all the prices for cabins and the ice shack were very reasonable. I will definitely be back again!
Cabins were huge and clean and very well set up with kitchen appliances and utensils, plates, and cookware.
I rented a boat and was very pleased with it. The staff were great and very friendly. The fishing was good.
I highly recommend this resort and plan to return next year.
