This place was really nice and cabins were great to stay in. Staff was really friendly as were other campers. Just would recommend using public boat launch rather than at the resort. Otherwise nice place and great fishing.

Middle of June and another fantastic stay at Whispering Pines Resort. Management worked very hard to supply us with any of our needs. Fishing license on site, fresh live bait, boat rentals, fish cleaning station, game room for anyone to enjoy, ice and campfire wood also on site.

For the fishing , it was fantastic. My wife and I caught over 100 fish and about 75 keepers.

My family absolutely enjoys staying here. Each time we stay the owners go out of the way to ensure that you have a great experience. We will definitely keep returning!

Rustic cabin getaway on a healthy lake. Staff was very polite and helpful for things we needed. Doesn't have all of the amenities, but is perfect for a couple looking for a quiet getaway. Enough things to do outside when it's nice weather and plenty inside when it isn't. Just a couple miles from town, but feels far enough away to relax. Will return.

Overall we really enjoyed this lake resort. LOVELY sunsets, sunrises, and moon rises! Relatively close to town and there is golf and a walking park not far away. I do wish there had been a firepit closer to our cabin, as we had to sorta “borrow” one from another cabin a couple nights. The cabins are very ‘cozy’ with some of the rooms being only large enough to have a double bed and walking room on one side and one end, so we kept luggage in the living room. But as a place to sleep it was fine. I have no trouble sleeping, but I could understand how the older spring mattresses might be problematic for some people. Overall, lighting in all the cabins could be much better. Even in the middle of the day I had to use a flashlight to find things in my suitcase; simple fix with better bulbs. All in all, we had a great time but thought I’d mention the quirks for small project inspiration. Nice lake access, game room and yard games to borrow, nice little shop, friendly staff, fire pits, fireworks shop, holiday potluck… a great week overall and we will definitely be back! Thank you!
