NOTE TO OTHERS: They delete Google reviews!! My original review was deleted. Not sure why, as I was honest, fair, and never really said anything to negative, nor was thier reply to that review negative. Not good business practices for management to do that. I'm submitting a review again.

First time staying at a KOA. Stayed 1 night in a teepee. Good check in experience. The lady at the front desk was nice and welcoming. The campground itself seemed well maintained. On the smaller side but they had some decent amenities and all the supplies a camper could need. As a family who regularly tent camps though, I wasn't very impressed with thier tent sites. Hilly, rocky terrain, and squished together, no privacy. The teepee was nice, although a little pricey. Small but clean. Stocked bathroom, small kitchen area with full size fridge, sitting area. Better bedding and pillows on the beds would have been nice. Only had 2 small, flat travel sized pillows on each bed. So bring your own pillows or plan on using rolled up clothing to compensate, like we had to do. The vent that circulates airflow to the downstairs bedroom was very loud, but the room got stuffy quickly if you didn't use it. The back decks were huge, came with a grill, firepit, and alot of deck furniture. The decks and furniture could have used some cleaning and sweeping. Didn't match up with the cleanliness of the inside of the teepee. Overall we had a good experience for a 1 night stay, but if we visit the area again for a longer stay, we will look into other options. (Especially now that they deleted my original review. Rude!)

Relentless highway noise. The highway noise kept us up all night our first night. We simply couldn’t go without another nights sleep. We did not stay for the remainder of our reservation. Went we called to tell them we would not return they didn’t seem to care. I realize the highway noise is something they can’t control. Some people may be more tolerant with the noise. Beautiful campground and very well kept. Due to the constant highway noise it’s not someplace I can recommend.

Very nice campground, well kept. Cabin was nice but pricey for off season. Unfortunately, this campground is too conveniently placed right against I65 and while easy to get to, it still takes about 30 minutes to get to the mammoth cave visitor center and is extremely noisy. Almost shouting at each other around a campfire and still very loud in cabins from the highway. Nice place, but the location is not ideal.

Easy to find. Excellent bath houses. Good level camper spots. Fun Halloween events. Fun play things for kids, including a giant jumping balloon pillow to climb on. A dog park fenced in area. Nothing outside of the campground to do without a bit of a drive away from the camp site. Super friendly staff.
