We are a Good Sam Park and a family-owned campground that was established by Fern and Sam in 1977. Our beloved, Sam, passed away December 20, 2018. Greg and Deanna Bazzell are the second generation campground hosts who live on the property.

Great campground. Very close to interstate but very quiet. The sites are large and easy to get into. It is also very close to the attractions and restaurants in town. We will definitely stay here again. Very helpful staff!
Excellent service and facilities, beautiful campground. Very conveniently located and the service was better than most (escorted to site), I really appreciate that. The site was fantastic.
The only suggestion for improvement I have is to more clearly mark the roads (entrance, exits, directions of travel, etc). not a big deal, just a suggestion. I come through Paducah a lot, and I will be back here every time. Very glad I found this place.
Have stayed here 3 different years now. Staff are great. Very accommodating for weather (high winds) or a health issue I had. Pet area across the lake is wonderful! Am planning on being there soon!
We stayed in our RV, enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Will return if we're in the area. There was one problem, dog owners had not been picking up after their dogs. Area along trees was a virtual landmine of dog droppings. I suggest that posts be installed with attached trashcan and a mailbox with old bags inside and a sign, something like "dog poops, owner scoops. Hopefully dog owners will comply.
We found this place last minute before we came to town to do a gun & knife show, and were still able to get a spot. Very quiet with a beautiful view, especially as the sun was coming up. The showers were worth every penny spent as we were camping in our vehicle.
The showers/bathroom was very clean, it was awesome to have a nice hot shower when it was so cold outside. The owners were very kind and pleasant to deal with.
