Recreation areas located near Hoist and Reid Lakes, north of the Au Sable River in the northeast corner of the Huron National Forest.
Nice area for backpacking. Fairly easy hike. $5 a day you just pay at the trail head drop box. There are fire rings and very primitive pit toilets. Lots of mosques so bring plenty of spray.
