About Campground

What better way to relax in a country atmosphere but yet close enough for a golf cart ride to either play 18 holes of golf, go fishing in five different lakes, swim in a Texas-shaped pool, play 9 holes of disc golf, go eat at the restaurant, play tennis or putt-putt or just find a good book at the library to read and relax at the campgrounds.

There is a Comfort Station (bathhouse) with separate men and women’s quarters, each with showers. A laundry room is available with a coin-operated washer and dryer; a courtesy phone is outside for emergency calls.

Indian Woods Campground offers 35 RV spots with water, electricity and sewer. Two of these sites are pull through. We also have ten (10) tent sites available. A playground and pavilion are onsite.

Wifi does not work, att doesn't get phone service, pool is 1 or 2 miles down the road, yes its quiet. Town is very very small if you need a store you have to go very far away!

Small and simple campground for a very good price. The site I was assigned was very slanted so they moved me to a more level location (they really need to address some of these such as site 32). The electricity on my post didn't work, but luckily I had an extension to plug into the next post over. They had someone working on the power post the very next morning. No cable. Wifi works but is very, very slow. Very friendly folks here. Although not perfect, the park is well worth the low price.

Nice, beautiful area to camp, boat, cycle and hike. Maintenace crews should take better care around personal property, (damaged my RV septic line and refuse to finish it), treat for ants and limit people dumping entire households of furniture at the dumpster. I don't enjoy watching dumpster divers on vacation. If you can ignore those.. a great spot !
