Flat land. You can bring pets but, beware of night predators. We have an above ground pool (Saltwater). Bathrooms will be created in the barn area, until then you will use our RV or home.
We are at the end of 15th street on the left side
Very expensive but since it is right on the river, maybe they price would be worth it if not for other issues.
You have to pay for showers, which is insane to me. Trying to level a camper on their strict policy is difficult.
But the actual issue I take is the rudeness of the staff. As many reviews have stated, they are rude and aggressive over everything. I really don’t understand why, it seems like a chill job.
This is the best place to camp on the Guadalupe River. Great location, clean bathrooms, quite at night. You can float, fish, kayak, or have a party during the day.
We always enjoy camping with them.
We LOVE KL! Gets more expensive every year, but as of this year, it's still worth every penny. We do the day-use sites; they have electrical, portapotties near (with a bigger restroom available down the way), grill pits and your own direct access to the river.
Beautiful place to enjoy a peaceful day. Been coming here since I was a child with lots of family memories. Unfortunately last few visits have been horrible. We've always felt welcomed in the past. Well I guess the times are changing for the worst. From the get go the money collectors when you come in are very rude. The time to you have to be out is sunset. Or 7:45 pm. Wth? Never was like that for day use. Use to be nine I believe. You are constantly reminded by staff on golf carts. Its was 5 times we were reminded about rules we were not violating. Felt like we were the only site being reminded and we were the quietest site. Last few trips we've been harassed about something. The property has been family owned family run for years. Always felt welcomed by a this nice couple on golf cart. Unfortunately we have the wrong color of skin for the new staff. But they will gladly take your money. What happened to KL Ranch Camp on the "GUADALUPE" river? "GUADALUPE RIVER "
If I could give 10 stars, I would!!! I LOVE coming to camp here! The staff is always so friendly and helpful! They even had some staff on golf carts help my husband back our RV into our spot for the weekend. The camp is beautiful, very serene. Even the restrooms were super clean (very refreshing for a campground). The staff on golf carts ride up and down the camp ground every once in a while to keep things orderly and keep other campers from getting to rambunctious. We had some neighbors a couple sites down that almost ruined our trip, thank goodness for the staff keeping them in check.
The reviews kind of scared us at first, but from what we’ve seen, a lot of the bad reviews are from people who are used to getting their way instead of respecting this campground and the staff. Hats off to them for putting up with these people!! Can’t wait to come back!
