I'm not very crazy about this lake it shores are made of rocks we spend more time get unstuck than we do catching fish. There are no Sandy spots for swimming they want let you swim off the docks.
Beautiful place. Well worth the trip. Free fishing and camping. Lots of different species to catch.
The ground is pretty level for camping but COVERED in cow patties. Bugs are exceptionally bad between that and the water. Water is hugely receded and there's a LOT of rock on shore so you're better off boating out to fish. Not a lot of trees or brush to break bad winds.
Beautiful place. We caught so many crappie as well as some bass and catfish.
