I love going there for the nature trails. I've never seen ppl out there on them so it's very peaceful and refreshing. There's certain spots you can stop and sit at, enjoy the fresh air and Enjoy the nature. It runs through to a point down to the swimming area and back around the other side of the road. And not to far off the road so you can't get lost! Normally I see deer through there, owls in the trees once in awhile. Very calm and relaxing. These are just a few pics I took. I put the little guy in kind of a hide and seek spot, see if you can spot him!!

He was part of one of my walks one day. Very beautiful, calm a peaceful. Good for the heart.

My best friend has camped here for years. It is a beautiful area. Restrooms were decent.. nicer than most parks. Loved walking down to the beach (closed for season four swimming but still cool walk). Hike was pretty well marked (yellow trail) but parallels the park road so never far off if you lose it.

Wonderful place for a weekend with the family.  The campsites were clean.  We had family ages 3 to 60.  We enjoyed swimming and picnicking at the beach, the playground, nature presentation for the kids, excellent fishing and boating.  We are already planning our next family camping trip.

Excellent well-cared for grounds. Quiet. Spacious lots. Clean restrooms. Very attentative staff on the grounds. We found the trail very well maintained. It's a trail through the woods, so roots and rocks are expected. Saw a post complaining about that, but my husband and I are in our 60s and had no issues with completing the trail. It was well- marked, even at the beach area, so we never had to walk on the road.
