Small family owned and operated campground on the Gasconade River in Richland, Missouri. We built our business in 2019 and officially opened in 2020. Our property consists of 27 acres with 2 stocked ponds. Most of our primitive tent sites are located right on the river bank. If you’re a tent camper but need electric, let us know and we will try to hook you up! Have an RV? No problem. We have back in full hookup (water, electric and sewer) sites or pull through water and electric sites. Water and electric sites are closer to the tents along with the river, but full hookups aren’t far from the water either!
Off of AB highway turn onto Smokey Road. Follow Smokey Road all the way to Froggy’s! There will be a sign at the split and a sign directing you to turn into our resort!
We had the best time! The owners of Froggy's are truly gracious host who really mean it when they say welcome. We really felt like we were guests. The campground is very pretty and right on the river. The float trips were well organized and so much fun. I had never floated before and they were encouraging and patient with our questions. I can't wait to go back. Thanks so much for a lovely labor day weekend.
There's not enough kind words that can be said about this place. From the top down they have everything in order. First and foremost they are very honest people. We had to cut our vacation short a year ago and my wife left some very expensive pans that they held for us and even a year down the road after we came back refunded us the difference in our trip. Extremely well priced, very clean, lots of amenities, super friendly staff and owners, friendly chickens, a cat who you'll swear wants to go home with you and an amazing river float! 10 out of 10 would recommend if you're looking for a float / camping trip. Owner takes a lot of pride in the place and you can tell, great job!
Such a beautiful campground! Clean and well maintained, horse-friendly and lovely trails close by. Super happy I found this gem.
This place is a piece of heaven. Family oriented, the river is gorgeous. The owners are amazing and very accommodating. Beautiful spot!
We really enjoyed our stay at Froggy's River Resort. We were there for a disc golf tournament. We stayed in the cabin. Yay. It is great for 4 or fewer. They have a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot and toaster. A half bath and AC.
The golfers also used the campsites and everyone was happy with the types of sites available.
We also floated the 4 mile float on the beautiful Gasconade River. Froggy's took really good care of all of us.
