The owner is friendly as are the other campers there. We are packed in here like sardines and when larger 5th wheels need to leave it usually involves other campers needing to be moved. Beware of the mower... Rocks are often discharged towards vehicles and campers. The monthly rent is comparable to the surrounding RV parks. This RV park is right on the Ohio River and doesn't seem to flood like all the other parks along the river.
Right on the river with a GREAT view of the barge traffic. It is a field with no trees, with well graded lots that each have 60 Amp power, water, and sewer. No bath house.
It is a safe area being an extention of the Post Office parking.
The owner was one of the nicest we have ever met. Asked if we needed anything and then brought us a bag with sightseeing pamphlets and maps the next morning.
Recommended.
Great owner and park. No extras like showers etc, but if you are looking for a basecamp when you are in the area, you can't go wrong. Full hookup, fair prices and Max (the ownder) gives you a packages of brochures and guidebooks for the area. We will be staying here again next time we are down this way.
There is a post office next door, Gas station with a convenience store across the road.
Great place to stay when in the area. Max is a great and friendly owner who goes the extra mile to welcome you. No amenities but right on the Ohio River. Sit and watch the barges pass and boaters.enjoying the day.
Recently stayed here for a few nights while in town to run a 10k race in WV. Great hook-ups, clean. Right on the Ohio River. Owner is a great guy. Great small town vibe. Gas station and laundry mat across the street. A little small town burger place a few hundred yards away. 2.5mi bike ride over to Saint Marys, WV area. Nice relaxing get away.
