Great place to stay. The cabins are nice and clean and some of them quite fancy. There's great amenities for campers as well. The staff is friendly makes you feel welcome. Been several times, I'll go back again.
This is the nearest campground to Whitesburg due to a flood last summer. First of all, this is an ATV trailhead which means lots of noise, drinking, partying. It caught me off guard at first, but everyone else was there for the trails so we just went with the flow. Our neighbors were polite and respectful so I got over the initial surprise. There are only a few sites and no sewer hookups, there are also a few cabins to rent. The bath house is nice and clean, the hot water plentiful. This is an easy to find and get into park, but is surrounded by steep mountains, so be careful out there. The staff was polite, but hands off beyond the office door.
Best place to stay and ride. They try to help everyone if they need it. The shower house and restrooms are very clean.
Amazing place at the trail head of huge ATV park(?land?). Have stayed in all the larger cabins and several smaller ones over the years- and they are awesome!! Well managed, cabins cleaned well, and entire area well maintained. Place to wash clothes/take showers and a covered picnic area if you just want to stop and stretch your legs.
The place was clean but a little primitive and tight quarters for the price. It was tight for 2 couldn't imagine 8-10 people. If you have a large party, look at the big cabins. The guy checking us in was very nice and knowledgeable. The location had great access for trail riding.
