About Campground

Nicura Ranch is a horse farm set in rural Berea, Kentucky. We have a small Inn, connected to the barn. The Inn offers 3 large and unique guest suites. Each suite has a patio and interior door leading to the stables. Two of the suites have full kitchens. The barn area also has a lounge where complimentary evening bourbon and morning muffins are offered.while staying with us, guests are welcome to interact with our horses and goats. They can explore the grounds, fish in our fishing pond, relax on the dock or by one of the fire pits.

The town of Berea is full of local artisan shops, and great hiking trails. Though you will feel a world away, there are plenty of amenities and restaurants within 5-10 minutes of our farm.

We are pet friendly, and have a fenced in dog park on property.

We look forward to hosting you.

This was a find of finds. The hosts were happy to allow us to participate in the night equine therapy session so to speak (watching and getting to know the beautiful horses), the room was very clean and oddly romantic. And we also found that there was no stable odor we thought might permeate through the room. Was really fantastic and uplifting. We slept better than we sleep at home!

Will definitely visit again.

WE WILL BE BACK OFTEN! My sis and I were looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Turkey Day. Nicura Ranch was the answer. Great energy on this property. Nick and Laura are very welcoming. We stayed in the Sunflower room. It was clean, nicely decorated and had fresh cream for coffee in the fridge! We enjoyed the homemade muffins daily with our coffee. And the animals!!!! Oh my goodness, the horses, the goats and the pups. Also, their chickens live the life. Nick has built them a "Taj Mahal" on the property. It is so clear that Nick and Laura LOVE and give the best life to the animals. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! And simply cannot wait to return.

We loved our weekend at the ranch... The scenery is beautiful and they made traveling with our dogs so easy. Be sure to add a few pints of ice cream to your stay...we loved the mint chocolate chip and the Kentucky vanilla! 10/10 location for a relaxing weekend away!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two separate stays (one before Christmas and one after New Years) at Nicura Ranch, and look forward to doing so again in the future. The room was cozy and comfortable, the amenities were beyond expectations (the theater, the spa, the bourbon tasting, mingling with the horses and goats), and the farm fresh eggs were delicious on Xmas morning! Thank you for providing a little "home away from home" on our journey!

Our family had an excellent stay at the Nicura Ranch! We stayed overnight with extended family to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. She absolutely loves horses, and she was quite taken with the story of Lady Bird (DeVille) and her rehabilitation following her tragic racing history. The baked treats and other thoughtful tidbits were delightful! We found activities that entertained all of our family members with a truly unique experience. Thank you, Nick and Laura!
