Can't say enough good things about this camp ground and the camp host. Had a fantastic time NYE.
We were in space 9, late June. Due to poor drainage we had a mud puddle throughout our stay, also no cover for our picnic table. Other sites had less mud, nice covers. There are 2 entrances, if you book an exterior site use the second entrance. Bathrooms and shower were clean. Palo Duro is 5 star, Hackberry probably deserves more stars but walking in around in mud the two days we were here….
We pitched our tent on the grass under a tree and enjoyed sitting outside and just soaking up the atmosphere. Other campers were quite and friendly. We loved being there.
Great campground at the bottom of the canyon. Full hookups, well maintained, beautiful sites, and quiet. What else can you ask for?
Very nice Campground with power and water. Space between sites is good and lots of hot water in the showers.
