The owners of this place are super nice, friendly, and responsive. The bathrooms were very clean. I felt physically and emotionally safe the whole weekend. This particular weekend I chose to camp in a tent. What I will say, is that the tents are very close together, and you can hear everything happening in the surrounding tents. Also, if you are planning on cooking all of your own meals, there is very limited space for campfires. I would highly recommend the massage therapist that is on staff.
Our first time at Grizzly Pines over Labor Day for a week and the sites do not have sewer, so that's a big inconvenience. While they boast that Labor Day is one of their biggest holidays, they couldn't handle the crowd. The pool turned green and actually had to be closed on Labor Day for several days due to the unhealthy water. The bathrooms were completely disgusting - never got cleaned during the busy holiday weekend and weren't cleaned for several days after. We were late checking out due to a jack that wouldn't retract on our motorhome and the owners harassed us about leaving although they had no one reserved for our spot. We've been to many gay campgrounds, and this was very disappointing.
This is a wonderful hidden oasis you won't want to miss.
Everyone treats each other like family here ❤️
It's a very safe environment and the amenities are very lovely, and Randy's big gay tacos make you never want to leave.
All the staff are always working round the clock to keep it running like a well oiled machine.
And I'm sure it'll only expand and get better as time goes on.
My only regret is not extending my stay more. C'est la vie
Till we meet again grizzly pines ❤️❤️❤️
Yes, the grounds and rooms can use some work, but that is not really why I came to GP. I met some great people and learned to be more confident about myself.
Connor is great and remembered my name throughout the stay. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and the pool/hot tub was perfect. Definitely try out the food while it's open and don't be afraid to say hi to people. Plenty of social people at GP and it's nice to walk around the park and meet others.
Check out campers and cabins and plan your next trip to visit. You'll leave feeling like part of the community and want to come back.
This is our first time to this place and we had a good time. My bf and I are nudist and wanted to try this place when it wasn't busy and on a beautiful day and we found today, Tues Feb 20th to be our day. Daniel greeted us the gate and was friendly and quick to check us in so we could view the beautiful pool area and the grounds. We enjoyed the rays and the other areas of the camp and will be back on one of their busier days to enjoy co-mingling - 6 star experience.
