We needed a place to overnight on our way to Topeka Kansas. Go to the laundry/office and fill out the form after you find a spot. Spot was pretty level.
It’s 5 stars for what it is: a great place to pull over and spend the night. It’s conveniently located and priced right. We would stay here again if we were passing through the area.
Great for an overnight to rest. The town is still recovering from being completely wiped out by an EF5 tornado years ago.
We needed to pull over for the night and saw this on the map. It's super easy to get into. There is a list of which spots have 30/50amp service in the restroom/laundry/check-in room. You fill out the form, put your cash or check ($20/night) in the envelope, and put it in the drop box. The room is clean, has 2 washers/2 dryers, and 2 private baths. There was some highway and train noise, but it didn't bother us once we were asleep. Great, no-frills spot for the night with full hookups!
I rate it a 5 based on value for the money. Right on the highway, full hookups including fast enough wireless Internet to stream Netflix. The bathroom, shower facility was perfectly adequate and there was laundry facilities. And it was a self check-in that accepted cash or check. I was told the museum that is in this town is very interesting with the largest hand dug well and the story of the F-5 tornado that wiped out the town.
