Cabin Rentals. Make your escape to our Outpost near Shenandoah National Park. Our tiny cabins nestled in Stanardsville, Virginia are waiting for you.
Stayed here this week and overall it was an excellent experience! The location is super close to everything I wanted to do! I'm glad I stayed in one of the more private cabins as some are pretty out in the open.
The biggest issue I had was the added costs for items left inside the cabin (tea bags, hot cocoa, off wipes, $5 s'more kits, etc). They took up some much needed space inside the cabin and to be honest should have been included for the cost of staying here. I went to the store down the street and picked up a box of hot cocoa and enough for 12 s'mores for less than what was inside the cabin.
Great experience overall. I love the cozy settings in the cabin. It’s very clean and quiet. We can find almost equipments we need in the kitchen. The signal is also good. We downloaded the google map but turns out to be unnecessary. We might come back when it gets warmer!
Great weekend Getaway. The service was great because anytime we needed anything, there was someone available to respond quickly. The dishes and sheets and amenities provided really made it convenient to just pack a bag of clothes and hygiene equipment and you're all set. Plus the bathrooms were very clean and modern. It didn't feel like we were slumming it at all. It was quite comfortable whether you're used to camping or if it's your first time. They even provided wood for fires and s'mores.
They also provided directions to a winery and other nearby attractions for daytime exploring. The trails were nicely routed with guide posts every few meters to ensure you're on the right trails.
Overall. Great experience. We'll certainly be back.
It was better than expected. We were greeted to a nice quiet space. I’ll start with the smell. The cabin smelled very inviting. I loved the scent in the bathroom. We followed the advice and dropped our phones into the cell phone box and started a camp fire and read the book on how to properly “getaway’. We took a drive on the beautiful skyline drive not too far away. Ate at a local diner for breakfast and did a night nature trail on the property. Amazing experience and will definitely be doing it again
Great weekend Getaway. I haven’t been on a camping trip in more than ten years, and from the moment we arrived, it was nothing less than settling to the spirit. 9/10.
The dishes and sheets and amenities provided really made it convenient to just pack a bag of clothes and hygiene equipment and you're all set. Everything appeared very clean and modern. It didn't feel like we were slumming it at all. The closest thing to “glamping” in a cabin. It was quite comfortable whether you're used to camping or if it's your first time. They even provided wood for fires and s'mores, mugs, tea bags, and bug repellent (for a price of course).
They also provided directions to nearby attractions for daytime exploring, which was helpful and we took advantage of it. The trails were routed with posts on the nearby trail but they also had other trails that started a short drive away.
The only thing I would have done differently was to have lights that illuminated the driving route or lights that lit the cabin on the outside. The showers only had about five minutes of hot water as well. But that’s fine food be.
Overall. Great experience. Enjoy!
